I’ve been on a journey of recovery since cancer interrupted my life and literally changed everything in 2016, mostly for good. Cancer surprised me when on March 10, 2019 I happened to read a hospital report for what I thought was a UTI and discovered cancer had again invaded my body and fractured my pelvis, explaining the pain God used (but didn’t cause) to get my attention.
I believe God’s hand was upon me when I started this website, only a few weeks earlier. He knew this would be a place where I could encourage others as His Spirit encourages me. Each week on my blog I share where I am spiritually, emotionally and physically, aware others also face difficult challenges.
As I say on my homepage, if you’re going through stuff, don’t despair. You’re not alone! The Lord of the Universe loves you deeply, and will see you thru.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. You’ll notice the website only lists about five postings, but if you scroll to the bottom of the page of the last blog listed, you should be able to read earlier blogs. One titled “All will be well, and all will be well…” was published about five days after learning I’m living with cancer again, and again I expect to see God at work in real and powerful ways.
So grab a cup of coffee or tea, check out new blog entries as they’re posted, and stop by the Prayer Cafe – prayers served with warmth and grace,
Jan
